Kindergarten
Information about enrolling in Kindergarten at our school can be found on our Kindergarten page. Getting ready for primary school contains some great tips and checklists for starting school.
Your child can start Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn 5 on or before 31 July in that year. By law, all children must be enrolled in school by their 6th birthday.
Enrolment appointments
Once you have completed the application process, contact the school to make an appointment for an interview. If your child has not been previously enrolled in a NSW public school, you will need to bring these documents with you:
- proof of Australian citizenship - your child's passport or birth certificate
- proof of student's address - see Residential address checklist
- Immunisation history statement based on the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR)
- health care plans if applicable
- family law or other relevant court orders (if applicable).
If your child is not a permanent resident you will also need to provide:
- passport or travel documents
- current visa
For children already enrolled in a NSW public school we only require:
